Total Contract Value: EGP 314,800 (Three Hundred Fourteen Thousand Eight Hundred Egyptian Pounds)
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Cairo University and the appointed University Lecturer for the academic year 2025/2026, commencing on 01 October 2025 and concluding on 30 June 2026, in accordance with the academic calendar of the University of Cairo, Egypt.
- The University Lecturer shall perform all duties at the Cairo University campus located in Giza, within the Cairo metropolitan area, and shall comply with all institutional policies, academic regulations, and the Egyptian Higher Education Law No. 101 of 2015 (as amended).
- Payment shall be disbursed monthly via bank transfer to the account designated by the University Lecturer, within thirty (30) calendar days following the end of each calendar month in which services were rendered. All payments are subject to applicable Egyptian tax withholdings as mandated by the Egyptian Tax Authority.
- The University Lecturer is required to maintain valid professional registration with the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) and shall provide proof of such registration upon request by the procurement office.
- Any modification, extension, or cancellation of this Purchase Order must be executed in writing and signed by both the authorized representative of Cairo University and the University Lecturer. Verbal agreements shall hold no legal standing under Egyptian civil law.
- The University Lecturer shall not engage in any conflicting academic appointments at other institutions within Egypt without prior written consent from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.
- All intellectual property, research outputs, and teaching materials developed during the term of this Purchase Order shall be jointly owned by Cairo University and the University Lecturer, with publication rights governed by the university's research policy.
- This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved through the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
- The University Lecturer shall maintain professional conduct commensurate with the standards expected of academic staff at a nationally recognized institution in Egypt Cairo, and any breach of the code of conduct may result in immediate termination of this Purchase Order without liability.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that this Purchase Order for the services of the University Lecturer has been reviewed, understood, and accepted in full. This document is valid for use within the administrative and legal framework of Egypt Cairo and the broader Egyptian higher education system.
