3. Scope of Purchase Order — University Lecturer Services

This Purchase Order is issued by Tehran Polytechnic University of Applied Sciences to formally engage Dr. Fatemeh Ahmadi Naeini as a University Lecturer for the academic year 1404 (2025–2026). 5. Terms and Conditions
  1. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Civil Code of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Labor Law of Iran, and the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology pertaining to academic personnel engagement in Tehran.
  2. Commencement: The University Lecturer shall commence duties on the first day of the academic semester as announced by the Tehran Polytechnic University Academic Calendar for the year 1404. The first lecture session is scheduled for 20 Farvardin 1404 at the main campus in Tehran.
  3. Payment Schedule: Compensation shall be disbursed in monthly installments via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 2. Payment for each month shall be processed within 10 business days following the end of the calendar month, subject to verification of attendance and service delivery by the Departmental Head in Tehran.
  4. Working Hours and Location: The University Lecturer shall report to the Faculty of Engineering Sciences building, Tehran Polytechnic University, Enghelab Avenue, Tehran, Iran, during the hours specified in the weekly academic timetable. Remote or hybrid delivery is not permitted unless formally approved in writing by the Dean.
  5. Performance Standards: The University Lecturer is expected to maintain a minimum student satisfaction rating of 80% as measured by the institutional evaluation system. Failure to meet this threshold for two consecutive evaluation periods may result in termination of this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice.
  6. Intellectual Property: All course materials, lecture notes, laboratory manuals, and curriculum documents developed under this Purchase Order shall remain the property of Tehran Polytechnic University. The University Lecturer retains the right to publish original research findings, provided that institutional approval is obtained prior to submission.
  7. Confidentiality: The University Lecturer shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding student records, examination content, and internal institutional matters in accordance with the data protection provisions applicable in Iran.
  8. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order by providing 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, all compensation for services rendered up to the termination date shall be settled within 15 business days.
  9. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall first be subject to internal mediation by the University's Legal Affairs Office in Tehran. If unresolved within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to the competent court of Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran.
  10. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or public health emergencies affecting operations in Tehran.
6. Approval and Authorization

This Purchase Order is authorized and approved by the undersigned officers of Tehran Polytechnic University of Applied Sciences. The engagement of the University Lecturer named herein is contingent upon verification of academic credentials, professional license validity, and clearance from the Iranian Social Security Organization.
