- This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with the Kuwaiti Public Procurement Law (Law No. 11 of 2016) and the internal academic hiring regulations of Al-Kuwait University, Kuwait City.
- The University Lecturer shall commence duties on 01 September 2025 at the Al-Salimiyah campus in Kuwait City and shall maintain a minimum weekly presence of 35 hours on campus during the academic term.
- All teaching, research, and administrative duties shall be performed in compliance with the academic standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kuwait, and the quality assurance framework of the Kuwait Quality Assurance Authority (KQA).
- The Purchase Order value stated herein is inclusive of all applicable Kuwaiti taxes and levies. No additional charges shall be incurred without prior written amendment to this Purchase Order.
- Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the University Lecturer’s designated account in Kuwait within thirty (30) calendar days of the end of each billing cycle. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed by Kuwaiti commercial law.
- The University Lecturer agrees to a non-compete clause for a period of twelve (12) months following the termination of this Purchase Order, within the geographic scope of Kuwait City and its surrounding governorates.
- Confidentiality: All student records, research data, and institutional information accessed by the University Lecturer in the course of duties shall remain the exclusive property of Al-Kuwait University and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written authorization.
- This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In the event of termination for cause, the Purchase Order shall be void immediately, and all outstanding obligations shall be settled within fourteen (14) days.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Kuwaiti courts of competent jurisdiction in Kuwait City, in accordance with the laws of the State of Kuwait.
- The University Lecturer shall submit a comprehensive end-of-year performance report to the Dean’s Office, including teaching evaluations, research output, and student supervision outcomes, no later than 30 June of the following academic year.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and obligations outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a University Lecturer at Al-Kuwait University, Kuwait City, Kuwait.
