2. The University Lecturer shall commence all instructional and academic duties no later than 3 March 2025 (Spring Semester) and 2 September 2025 (Fall Semester), in accordance with the official academic calendar of the institution in Seoul, South Korea.
3. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 2 within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice (세금계산서) issued in compliance with the Korean National Tax Service regulations. All payments are denominated in Korean Won (KRW).
4. The University Lecturer is engaged as an independent professional service provider under this Purchase Order and is not an employee of the institution. The University Lecturer shall be responsible for all personal income tax obligations under the Korean Income Tax Act and shall maintain valid health insurance registration in Seoul, South Korea.
5. All intellectual property, course materials, syllabi, and assessment instruments developed specifically under this Purchase Order shall become the property of Seoul National University of Technology and Sciences upon full payment. The University Lecturer retains the right to publish original research independently.
6. The University Lecturer shall comply with all institutional policies regarding academic integrity, student conduct, and data protection as mandated by the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the institution's internal regulations in Seoul, South Korea.
7. This Purchase Order may be amended only by written mutual agreement signed by both parties. Any material change in scope, duration, or compensation requires re-approval by the Vice-Chancellor's Office.
8. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the University Lecturer shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination, less any applicable deductions.
9. The University Lecturer shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of KRW 100,000,000, valid throughout the term of this Purchase Order, with the institution named as an additional insured party.
10. All communications, notices, and official correspondence related to this Purchase Order shall be directed to the addresses listed in Sections 1 and 2. Electronic communication via institutional email is acceptable for routine matters but does not substitute for formal written notice.

All primary instructional services under this Purchase Order shall be delivered at the main campus of Seoul National University of Technology and Sciences, located at 222 Nowon-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul 02033, South Korea. Supplementary seminars, industry collaboration events, and off-campus academic activities shall take place at pre-approved venues within the Seoul metropolitan area, including but not limited to partner institutions in Gangnam-gu, Mapo-gu, and Yongsan-gu. The University Lecturer shall coordinate all travel and logistics within South Korea Seoul independently unless otherwise specified in a written addendum to this Purchase Order.
