  1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Al Noor University of Abu Dhabi and the appointed University Lecturer for the academic term commencing 1 September 2025 and concluding 31 May 2026, subject to the terms herein.
  2. The University Lecturer shall report to the Department of Engineering Sciences at the main campus located on Corniche Road, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and shall maintain a minimum of 20 contact teaching hours per week.
  3. All payments under this Purchase Order shall be disbursed in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) via bank transfer to the account designated by the University Lecturer, in accordance with the UAE Central Bank regulations.
  4. The University Lecturer shall comply with all applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, including but not limited to the Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations, the Federal Tax Authority VAT regulations, and the Abu Dhabi municipal and educational authority directives.
  5. The University Lecturer is required to maintain valid professional accreditation and shall submit annual performance evaluations to the Office of Academic Procurement in Abu Dhabi by 30 June of each academic year.
  6. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of not less than sixty (60) days, in accordance with the termination clauses of the UAE Labour Law. Upon termination, all outstanding obligations shall be settled within thirty (30) days.
  7. All intellectual property developed by the University Lecturer during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the University Lecturer and Al Noor University of Abu Dhabi, as per the institutional IP policy.
  8. This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved through the competent courts in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Payments under this Purchase Order shall be made on a monthly basis, due on the last working day of each calendar month. The initial payment shall be processed within fifteen (15) business days of the University Lecturer's commencement date. The end-of-service gratuity shall be paid in a lump sum within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the academic term or upon early termination, whichever occurs first. All payments are subject to the withholding of applicable UAE income tax and social insurance contributions as mandated by the Abu Dhabi government.
