- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021 on the Private Sector Labour Law and the regulations issued by the United Arab Emirates Dubai Department of Economic Development.
- The University Lecturer shall comply with all institutional policies, academic integrity standards, and the code of conduct established by Dubai International University of Applied Sciences and the United Arab Emirates Dubai Higher Education Council.
- Payment shall be disbursed on a monthly basis within fifteen (15) business days following the end of each calendar month, via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 2 of this Purchase Order.
- The University Lecturer is required to maintain a valid residence visa and work permit issued by the United Arab Emirates Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) for the entire duration of this engagement.
- Any modification to the scope, duration, or compensation outlined in this Purchase Order must be documented in a written amendment signed by both parties and countersigned by the Dean of Academic Affairs.
- The University Lecturer shall submit a monthly activity report detailing hours of instruction delivered, student supervision progress, and committee participation to the Department Head no later than the fifth (5th) business day of the following month.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute a permanent employment contract. The engagement is for a fixed term of twelve (12) months commencing 1 September 2025 and concluding 31 August 2026, subject to renewal at the sole discretion of the institution.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the United Arab Emirates Dubai Courts of First Instance, with the seat of jurisdiction located in the Dubai Judicial Complex.
- The University Lecturer agrees to a non-compete clause for a period of six (6) months following the termination of this engagement, within the geographic boundaries of United Arab Emirates Dubai and its emirates.
