The University Lecturer engaged under this Purchase Order shall fulfill the following duties and responsibilities at the Los Angeles campus in United States Los Angeles:
- Deliver a minimum of 18 contact hours per week across two (2) undergraduate courses and one (1) graduate seminar in the field of Structural Engineering and Sustainable Design.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive course materials, including lecture notes, laboratory manuals, examination papers, and digital learning resources, in alignment with the university's accreditation standards.
- Supervise a minimum of four (4) undergraduate capstone design projects and two (2) graduate research theses per academic year.
- Conduct office hours for a minimum of six (6) hours per week to provide academic advising and student support.
- Participate in departmental governance, curriculum review committees, and the annual faculty senate of the university located in United States Los Angeles.
- Pursue active research in the field of sustainable infrastructure, with a minimum of two (2) peer-reviewed publications per academic year.
- Maintain professional licensure and certifications as required by the State of California Board of Registered Engineers.
- Payment Terms: Compensation shall be disbursed on a bi-weekly basis via direct deposit to the University Lecturer's designated bank account, in accordance with the payroll schedule of the university in United States Los Angeles.
