5.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the purchasing institution and the University Lecturer for the academic year 2025/2026. All terms are subject to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including but not limited to the Labor Code, the Tax Code, and the Law on Higher Education.

5.2 The University Lecturer shall commence duties on 1 September 2025 at the main campus of Tashkent State University of Economics, located in the Mirzo-Ulugbek District of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The working schedule shall follow the standard academic calendar approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.

5.3 Payment shall be processed on a monthly basis via bank transfer to the IBAN account specified in Section 2. The first payment shall be due within 10 business days following the commencement date. All payments are subject to applicable withholding taxes as mandated by the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.

5.4 The University Lecturer is required to maintain valid professional qualifications, including a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) and a minimum of five years of post-doctoral teaching experience in a relevant field of economics or international trade.

5.5 Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of 30 calendar days. In the event of termination, all accrued and unpaid compensation owed to the University Lecturer shall be settled within 15 business days in accordance with Uzbek labor law.

5.6 The University Lecturer agrees to a non-compete clause for a period of 12 months following the termination of this engagement, restricting the provision of similar academic services to competing institutions within the Tashkent metropolitan area, Uzbekistan, without prior written consent from the university administration.

5.7 All intellectual property, including lecture materials, course designs, and research outputs produced during the term of this Purchase Order, shall be jointly owned by the University Lecturer and Tashkent State University of Economics, with publication rights governed by a separate intellectual property agreement.

Services under this Purchase Order shall be delivered in person at the university campus in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, or via approved online platforms as designated by the Faculty Dean. Acceptance of services shall be confirmed by the Head of Department at the end of each semester through a formal academic performance review. Any disputes regarding the quality or scope of services rendered by the University Lecturer shall be resolved through the internal grievance mechanism of the institution before escalation to the relevant labor arbitration body in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

This Purchase Order is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue and may be renewed upon mutual written agreement of both parties no later than 30 days prior to the expiration date. This document is authorized for execution by the undersigned representatives of both parties.
