Terms & Conditions of This Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is issued by Dr. Awa Koné, lead Veterinarian at Clinique Vétérinaire du Plateau, Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and constitutes a binding procurement request for the veterinary supplies and equipment listed above.
- All items must comply with the regulatory standards set forth by the Ivorian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Ministère de l'Agriculture et de l'Élevage) and the Ivorian Veterinary Council (Ordre des Médecins Vétérinaires de Côte d'Ivoire).
- The supplier, MediVet International SARL, shall deliver all goods to the specified address in the Plateau District of Abidjan, Ivory Coast, within the stated delivery window. Late delivery beyond 28 June 2025 shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay.
- Payment shall be made in West African CFA Francs (XOF) via bank transfer within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice conforming to the fiscal regulations of the Ivory Coast Directorate General of Taxation (Direction Générale des Impôts).
- All pharmaceutical and vaccine items must be accompanied by certificates of origin, batch numbers, and valid expiration dates (minimum 18 months remaining at time of delivery to Abidjan).
- The portable X-ray machine and refrigerated storage unit shall include full installation, calibration, and a 24-month warranty service agreement covering parts and labor within the Abidjan metropolitan area.
- This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement signed by both the Veterinarian buyer and the authorized representative of the supplier. No verbal modifications shall be recognized.
- In the event of a dispute arising from this Purchase Order, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in accordance with the commercial arbitration provisions of the OHADA (Organisation pour l'Harmonisation en Afrique du Droit des Affaires) Uniform Act.
- The supplier warrants that all veterinary products listed herein are free from defects, properly labeled in French and English, and suitable for use in the tropical climate conditions of Ivory Coast.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the commercial laws of the Republic of Ivory Coast and the applicable OHADA conventions. All communications regarding this order shall be directed to the addresses listed above in Abidjan.
