Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- Delivery Location: All items listed in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Mwanza Veterinary Clinic & Animal Hospital premises located at Plot 14, Sam Nujoma Street, Masaki, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Seller is responsible for all transportation costs within the Dar es Salaam metropolitan area.
- Delivery Timeline: The Seller shall deliver all pharmaceutical and consumable items within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. Heavy equipment items (Items 03 and 08) shall be delivered and installed within thirty (30) calendar days. The Veterinarian in charge, Dr. Amina Hassan, shall inspect all equipment upon arrival and sign the delivery confirmation form.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Seller's designated account within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. A 50% advance payment is required upon confirmation of this Purchase Order, with the remaining 50% due upon successful delivery and inspection. All transactions are subject to the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) regulations.
- Quality Assurance: All pharmaceutical products must carry valid registration with the Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA). The Seller guarantees that all veterinary medicines, diagnostic reagents, and surgical instruments comply with the standards set by the Tanzania Veterinary Council. Any expired or substandard items will be rejected and replaced at the Seller's sole expense.
- Warranty: All equipment items (ultrasound scanner, X-ray machine, and examination tables) carry a minimum two-year manufacturer's warranty. The Seller shall provide on-site technical support and repair services within Dar es Salaam for the duration of the warranty period.
- Regulatory Compliance: This Purchase Order is issued in full compliance with the Veterinary Practice Act (Cap. 445) of the Laws of Tanzania and all applicable regulations of the Tanzania Veterinary Council. The Buyer is a licensed veterinary practice operating in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and all procured items are intended exclusively for veterinary clinical use.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Tanzania. The governing law shall be the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
- Validity: This Purchase Order is valid for sixty (60) days from the date of issue. If the Seller does not confirm acceptance within ten (10) business days, this Purchase Order shall be considered void and the Buyer reserves the right to source supplies from alternative vendors in Dar es Salaam or elsewhere in Tanzania.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding the pricing, quantities, and business terms outlined in this Purchase Order. No information shall be disclosed to third parties without written consent, except as required by Tanzanian law or regulatory authorities.
