The scope of this Purchase Order encompasses the Videographer's full-time availability for a period of five (5) consecutive production days, during which the Videographer shall capture, direct, and produce a 12-minute corporate brand film highlighting Meridian Global Media Solutions' partnership with local artisans and cultural institutions in Japan Kyoto. The Videographer is expected to bring all necessary camera equipment, lighting rigs, audio recording devices, and post-production software to the Japan Kyoto production site. The Videographer shall also coordinate with local permits offices in Japan Kyoto to ensure all filming locations, including Fushimi Inari Shrine, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and the Kamo River waterfront, are legally cleared for commercial production.

The Videographer shall deliver a fully edited master file in 4K resolution (3840×2160), along with a 1080p web-optimized version, color-graded to match the brand palette specified in the attached creative brief. All raw footage, project files, and metadata shall be transferred to the Buyer within fourteen (14) business days of the final production day in Japan Kyoto.

  • 50% Advance Payment ($14,133.88): Due within five (5) business days of Purchase Order acceptance, prior to the Videographer's travel to Japan Kyoto.
  • 30% Mid-Production Payment ($8,480.33): Due upon completion of the third production day in Japan Kyoto, subject to Buyer's on-site review of dailies.
  • 20% Final Payment ($5,653.54): Due within ten (10) business days of final deliverable acceptance by the Buyer's creative team.

All payments are denominated in United States Dollars (USD). The Videographer and Sakura Lens Productions Co., Ltd. shall provide a formal invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-KYO-0487) for each payment milestone.

  1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement upon written acceptance by both parties. The Videographer agrees to perform all services exclusively for the Buyer during the contracted period in Japan Kyoto.
  2. The Videographer warrants that all footage captured in Japan Kyoto shall be free of third-party intellectual property claims, and all location permits shall be valid for the duration of the shoot.
  3. In the event of force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters common to the Japan Kyoto region such as typhoons or seismic activity), the Videographer shall notify the Buyer within 24 hours, and both parties shall negotiate a revised production schedule in good faith.
  4. The Videographer shall comply with all local regulations of Japan Kyoto, including noise ordinances, pedestrian zone restrictions, and cultural heritage site filming protocols.
  5. All raw footage and intermediate files remain the property of the Buyer upon full payment. The Videographer retains the right to display the final film in their professional portfolio with prior written consent from the Buyer.
  6. Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved under the commercial laws of the State of California, United States, with arbitration seated in San Francisco.
  7. This Purchase Order may not be assigned or subcontracted by the Videographer without prior written approval from the Buyer.

The Videographer is advised that several filming locations in Japan Kyoto require advance notification to the Kyoto City Tourism Board and individual temple or shrine management committees. The Videographer shall carry a printed copy of this Purchase Order and a signed letter of authorization from the Buyer at all times during the Japan Kyoto production. The Videographer shall also observe local customs, including appropriate attire when entering sacred spaces and adherence to quiet hours in residential districts of Japan Kyoto. A dedicated production liaison from Sakura Lens Productions, based in Japan Kyoto, shall be available 24/7 during the shoot to assist with any logistical or regulatory matters.
