2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS – WELDERThe Welder unit procured under this Purchase Order must meet the following minimum technical requirements to ensure safe and efficient operation in the tropical and humid climate conditions prevalent in Ivory Coast Abidjan:

The Welder and all associated equipment shall be delivered to the buyer's designated facility at Route d'Abobo, Zone Industrielle, Ivory Coast Abidjan. Delivery shall be made on a CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) basis to Port of Abidjan, with final inland transport and installation to be completed within 45 calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. The supplier is responsible for all customs clearance documentation required by the Ivorian Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGD) to ensure the Welder is cleared for entry into the Ivory Coast without delay.
All packaging must be suitable for sea freight and subsequent road transport within Ivory Coast Abidjan. The Welder must be crated in moisture-resistant containers with adequate cushioning to prevent damage during transit through the Abidjan port terminal and onward to the installation site.
4. PAYMENT TERMS- 30% advance payment upon confirmation of this Purchase Order: $17,482.32 USD
- 50% upon shipment and presentation of Bill of Lading: $29,137.20 USD
- 20% upon successful installation, commissioning, and acceptance of the Welder at the Ivory Coast Abidjan site: $11,654.88 USD
- Payment method: Irrevocable Letter of Credit (LC) issued by a recognized Ivorian bank, payable in US Dollars.
The supplier shall provide a minimum 24-month warranty on the Welder unit from the date of acceptance at the Ivory Coast Abidjan installation site. This warranty covers all manufacturing defects, component failures, and performance deviations from the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order. The supplier shall maintain a service representative or authorized agent within the Ivory Coast to ensure prompt technical support, spare parts availability, and on-site repair services for the Welder throughout the warranty period.
6. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ivory Coast and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in accordance with the rules of the Ivorian Chamber of Commerce.
- The supplier warrants that the Welder is new, unused, and of first quality, free from liens and encumbrances.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to port strikes in Abidjan or political instability in the Ivory Coast, shall extend delivery timelines by a mutually agreed period.
- All communications regarding this Purchase Order shall be conducted in English and shall be directed to the procurement department of Abidjan Industrial Solutions SARL.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the procurement of the Welder for use in Ivory Coast Abidjan. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon execution by both authorized representatives.
