2. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 10%, as applicable under the Australian Taxation Office regulations for services rendered in Australia Melbourne.
3. The Academic Researcher shall comply with all University of Melbourne research integrity policies, the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, and all applicable Victorian and Commonwealth legislation.
4. Intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the University of Melbourne and Meridian Research & Analytics Pty Ltd, as stipulated in the separate Intellectual Property Agreement (Appendix B).
5. Either party may terminate this engagement with sixty (60) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the Academic Researcher shall be compensated for all work completed up to the termination date, as detailed in this Quotation Estimate.
6. Any variations to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties prior to commencement of additional tasks. A supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued for any such variations.
7. This engagement is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Australia Melbourne before proceeding to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
