This Quotation Estimate covers a twelve-month engagement period commencing on 1 September 2025 and concluding on 31 August 2026, during which the Academic Researcher will be fully dedicated to the client's research objectives in Guangzhou.

The Academic Researcher engaged under this Quotation Estimate will hold a minimum of a Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in a relevant discipline and will possess a minimum of five (5) years of post-doctoral research experience. The Academic Researcher will be based in the client's laboratory or research facility located in the Tianhe District of Guangzhou, China, and will operate under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator. The scope of work for the Academic Researcher includes, but is not limited to, the following deliverables:

• Design and execution of experimental protocols and fieldwork studies aligned with the project's research questions.
• Literature review, data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation of research findings.
• Preparation of draft manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
• Participation in academic conferences, seminars, and collaborative workshops held across China Guangzhou and the broader Pearl River Delta region.
• Mentorship and supervision of up to three (3) graduate students enrolled in the client's research group.
• Management of laboratory equipment, research databases, and institutional compliance documentation as required by Chinese academic regulations.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three (3) equal installments of CNY 299,944.67 each, due on the following schedule: (a) 50% upon execution of the formal service agreement, (b) 25% upon completion of the sixth (6th) month of the Academic Researcher's engagement, and (c) the remaining 25% upon final project delivery and acceptance. All payments shall be remitted via bank transfer to the account designated by Guangzhou Academic Consulting & Research Institute Co., Ltd. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 0.05% per calendar day as stipulated under applicable Chinese commercial law.

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Academic Researcher are subject to re-evaluation.
2. The Academic Researcher's engagement is contingent upon the client providing a suitable workspace, necessary laboratory access, and all institutional clearances required by the host university in Guangzhou, China.
3. Intellectual property generated during the course of the engagement shall be jointly owned by the client institution and the Academic Researcher, as further detailed in a separate Intellectual Property Addendum.
4. Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, all fees for services rendered up to the termination date, plus a 10% administrative surcharge, shall be due.
5. All data and research materials collected in China Guangzhou shall comply with the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant data sovereignty regulations.
6. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal service agreement must be executed by both parties before any work commences.
7. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, in accordance with the rules of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
