2. Scope of Work — Academic Researcher Engagement
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Andes Academic Research Group to formally propose the professional services of a qualified Academic Researcher for the duration of the specified project period in Colombia Medellín. The Academic Researcher will be engaged to conduct, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive research activities aligned with the strategic objectives of the client institution. The scope encompasses the following deliverables and responsibilities:
- Literature Review and Theoretical Framework Development: The Academic Researcher will conduct an exhaustive review of existing academic literature relevant to the project topic, synthesizing findings into a coherent theoretical framework. This phase will be executed within the first six (6) weeks of the engagement in Medellín, Colombia.
- Research Design and Methodology: Development of a robust mixed-methods research design, including quantitative survey instruments and qualitative interview protocols, tailored to the socio-cultural context of the Medellín metropolitan area and the broader Antioquia department in Colombia.

4. Terms and Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Academic Researcher rates and terms may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Colombia Medellín.
- Payment shall be made in four (4) equal installments, due at the commencement of the project, at the midpoint of fieldwork, upon delivery of the final research report, and upon acceptance of all publications. Each installment corresponds to 25% of the total Quotation Estimate amount.
- The Academic Researcher shall comply with all applicable Colombian labor regulations, data protection laws (Ley 1581 de 2012), and institutional ethical guidelines governing research conducted in Colombia Medellín.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond the parameters described in Section 2 will require a formal amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties, before additional work commences.
- The Academic Researcher retains intellectual property rights over original methodologies and analytical frameworks developed during the engagement, while the client institution retains full rights over the final research outputs and publications produced under this contract.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with the commercial courts of Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia.
