This Quotation Estimate shall be settled in three equal instalments: 40% upon contract execution, 30% upon completion of the third month of the Academic Researcher engagement, and 30% upon final delivery of all research outputs. All payments shall be made in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) via bank transfer to the Alexandria Academic Research Institute's designated account. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 2% per month as stipulated under Egyptian commercial law.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing for the Academic Researcher services may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Egypt Alexandria.
- The Academic Researcher and all supporting personnel shall comply with all applicable Egyptian laws, including the Egyptian Research Ethics Act and data protection regulations issued by the National Data Protection Authority.
- All intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and the Academic Researcher team, as detailed in the separate Intellectual Property Addendum.
- The client agrees to provide timely access to all necessary facilities, data sets, and institutional partnerships within Egypt Alexandria required for the successful execution of the research programme.
- Any scope changes or additional deliverables requested by the client beyond the original Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a written change order and additional fees at the rates specified herein.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to government-mandated closures of research institutions in Alexandria, shall extend the project timeline proportionally without additional cost to either party.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Egyptian Arbitration Centre, with the seat of arbitration in Alexandria, Egypt.
