3. Scope of Services – Academic Researcher Engagement
The proposed Academic Researcher will be engaged on a fixed-term basis to conduct, coordinate, and deliver high-quality research activities aligned with the strategic objectives of the client institution. The engagement is specifically tailored to the academic and professional landscape of Germany Frankfurt, leveraging the region's concentration of universities, research institutes, and international organisations. The Academic Researcher shall perform the following duties:

5. Payment Terms and Schedule
Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in quarterly instalments via bank transfer to the account of Frankfurt Academic Consulting GmbH (IBAN: DE89 3704 0044 0532 0130 00, BIC: COBADEFFXXX). The payment schedule is as follows:
- 25% advance payment upon contract execution (due within 14 calendar days of acceptance).
- 25% upon completion of the third month of the Academic Researcher engagement.
- 25% upon completion of the sixth month.
- 25% upon completion of the twelfth month and final project deliverable submission.
Overdue payments shall incur interest at the statutory rate pursuant to § 288 of the German Civil Code (BGB). All invoices shall reference the Quotation Estimate number QTE-2025-FRA-0847.
6. Terms and Conditions
6.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision without prior notice.
6.2 Intellectual Property: All research outputs, publications, and data generated by the Academic Researcher during the term of engagement shall be jointly owned by the client institution and Frankfurt Academic Consulting GmbH, unless otherwise agreed in a separate intellectual property addendum.
6.3 Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary data, unpublished findings, and internal communications in accordance with German trade secret law (GeschGehG).
6.4 Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice period of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all costs incurred up to the termination date plus a 10% administrative surcharge.
6.5 Governing Law: This agreement and all matters arising from the engagement of the Academic Researcher shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany Frankfurt (Amtsgericht Frankfurt am Main / Landgericht Frankfurt am Main).
6.6 Data Protection: All personal data processed in connection with this engagement shall be handled in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/DSGVO) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
7. Acceptance and Authorisation
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and cost structure outlined herein for the engagement of the proposed Academic Researcher team in Germany Frankfurt. This signature constitutes a binding acceptance of the quotation and authorises Frankfurt Academic Consulting GmbH to commence the recruitment and onboarding process immediately.
