3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed beyond this period, a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting any changes in Academic Researcher availability or institutional fees in Jerusalem, Israel, will be required.
3.2 Scope Limitations: The costs presented herein cover the specific Academic Researcher services described in Section 2. Any additional research activities, extended fieldwork beyond the six-month period, or supplementary archival access not explicitly listed will be subject to a separate Quotation Estimate and written amendment to this agreement.
3.3 Academic Researcher Availability: The engagement of the named Academic Researcher personnel is contingent upon their continued availability. In the event of unforeseen unavailability, the consortium will propose a replacement Academic Researcher of equivalent or superior qualifications, subject to the client’s written approval.
3.4 Intellectual Property: All research findings, manuscripts, data sets, and publications generated by the Academic Researcher team during the course of this engagement in Jerusalem, Israel, shall be jointly owned by the client institution and the Levant Academic Research Consortium, as detailed in a separate Intellectual Property Addendum.
3.5 Regulatory Compliance: All research activities conducted by the Academic Researcher in Israel Jerusalem shall adhere to the laws of the State of Israel, including but not limited to the Antiquities Law, the Personal Data Protection Law, and the ethical guidelines of the Israel Association for the Advancement of Science.
3.6 Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three equal installments: 40% upon execution of the contract, 30% upon completion of month three, and 30% upon final delivery of all research outputs. Invoices will be issued in ILS and are payable within thirty (30) days of the invoice date.
3.7 Cancellation: Either party may terminate this Quotation Estimate engagement with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all costs incurred by the Academic Researcher team up to the date of termination, plus a 10% administrative fee.
3.8 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Jerusalem, Israel, in accordance with the rules of the Israel Arbitration Association.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial estimates set forth herein for the engagement of Academic Researcher services in Israel Jerusalem. This signature constitutes a binding acceptance of the Quotation Estimate and authorizes the Levant Academic Research Consortium to commence the described research activities.
