- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Nepal Kathmandu and any changes in statutory tax obligations.
- Payment shall be made in quarterly instalments of 25% each, due within fifteen (15) days of the end of each quarter. The first instalment is due upon signed acceptance of this quotation and execution of the formal service agreement.
- The Academic Researcher shall adhere to the ethical guidelines prescribed by the Nepal Research Ethics Committee (NREC) and the institutional review board of Tribhuvan University. All human-subject data collection must receive prior ethical clearance before fieldwork commences.
- All intellectual property, including but not limited to raw data, analysis outputs, manuscripts, and publication rights, shall vest exclusively with the client institution unless otherwise stipulated in a separate intellectual property agreement.
- The Academic Researcher is required to maintain a minimum of 90% attendance at the designated office in Nepal Kathmandu during the engagement period. Remote work from home is permissible for a maximum of two days per week with prior written approval from the project supervisor.
- Any change in scope, additional field sites, or extended timelines beyond the originally agreed parameters shall be documented through a formal Change Order, and the corresponding cost adjustment will be reflected in a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by our firm.
- This quotation does not include costs for journal publication fees (APC), international travel for conference presentations outside Nepal, or procurement of specialised laboratory equipment. Such expenses, if incurred, shall be borne separately by the client.
- Disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this engagement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. In the event of failure to reach a settlement within thirty days, the matter shall be referred to the competent civil court in Kathmandu, Nepal, in accordance with the Code of Civil Procedure, 2075.
- All communications, reports, and deliverables under this engagement shall be prepared in English, with a summary in Nepali language provided for the benefit of local stakeholders and government reporting requirements.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms acceptance of the proposed terms, rates, and scope of work for the engagement of the Academic Researcher in Nepal Kathmandu. This document, once countersigned by both parties, shall constitute a binding preliminary agreement pending the execution of the detailed service contract.
