All rates are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). VAT is applied at the current United Kingdom standard rate of 20%. This Quotation Estimate is subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

Acceptance: This Quotation Estimate shall be deemed accepted upon written confirmation (email or signed copy) returned to Meridian Academic Consulting Ltd. within 30 days of the date of issue. Failure to respond within this period will render this Quotation Estimate void.
Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in four instalments: 25% upon contract execution, 35% upon completion of data collection (Week 14), 30% upon manuscript submission (Week 26), and 10% upon final project handover (Week 31). All invoices are payable within 30 days of receipt via BACS transfer to the account details provided.
Intellectual Property: All research outputs, including manuscripts, datasets, and presentation materials produced by the Academic Researcher under this engagement, shall be jointly owned by the commissioning institution and Meridian Academic Consulting Ltd., unless otherwise agreed in a separate IP schedule.
Confidentiality: The Academic Researcher shall adhere to strict confidentiality obligations in line with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as applicable in United Kingdom London. All participant data shall be anonymised and stored on encrypted, UK-based servers.
Ethical Compliance: The research protocol shall be submitted for approval by the University of Westminster Research Ethics Committee prior to commencement of any primary data collection. The Academic Researcher shall comply with the British Academy Code of Conduct and all relevant UKRI research integrity requirements.
Termination: Either party may terminate this engagement with 14 days written notice. In the event of early termination, the commissioning party shall be liable for all work completed to date plus a 10% administrative fee on the remaining contract value.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in London, United Kingdom, in accordance with the rules of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR). Failing mediation, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, or public health emergencies affecting operations in United Kingdom London.

By signing below, the commissioning party confirms that this Quotation Estimate has been reviewed, understood, and accepted in full. The engagement of the Academic Researcher shall commence on the date specified in the subsequent Statement of Work, and all services shall be delivered in and around United Kingdom London as detailed above.
