The Academic Researcher to be engaged under this Quotation Estimate will possess a minimum of a Doctoral degree (PhD) in a relevant discipline, a minimum of five (5) years of post-doctoral research experience, and demonstrated familiarity with the academic landscape, regulatory environment, and institutional frameworks specific to Uzbekistan. The researcher will be based in Tashkent and will conduct all primary work activities within the Tashkent metropolitan area unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

All amounts are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). Payment may be made in USD or its equivalent in Uzbekistan Som (UZS) at the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU) exchange rate on the date of invoice. The current indicative rate is 1 USD ≈ 12,800 UZS.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three (3) installments: (a) 30% upon execution of the Service Agreement; (b) 40% upon completion of primary data collection and delivery of interim findings; and (c) 30% upon final delivery and client acceptance of the completed research deliverables. All payments are due within fifteen (15) calendar days of invoice issuance. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with the Commercial Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision.
Scope Changes: Any modification to the scope of work, additional research objectives, or extended timelines must be documented in a written Change Order signed by both parties. Additional costs will be quoted separately.
Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all research outputs, data sets, reports, and publications produced by the Academic Researcher shall become the exclusive property of the Client, unless otherwise stipulated in the Service Agreement.
Confidentiality: The Academic Researcher and Central Asian Academic Consulting Group shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all data, findings, and proprietary information encountered during the engagement in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Compliance: All research activities shall comply with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including but not limited to data protection regulations, academic ethics standards, and any applicable permits required for fieldwork within Uzbekistan.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or public health emergencies in Uzbekistan.
Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting Service Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Tashkent under the rules of the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre.
Subcontracting: The Academic Researcher may engage qualified sub-researchers or technical assistants in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, provided that the primary researcher retains full supervisory responsibility and the Client has given prior written consent.

By signing below, the Client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and indicates intent to proceed with the engagement of the Academic Researcher as described herein. This signature does not constitute a binding contract; a formal Service Agreement will be prepared and executed prior to the commencement of any work.
