3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate remains valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Academic Researcher reserves the right to revise pricing due to fluctuations in the Venezuelan bolivar exchange rate or changes in operational costs within Venezuela Caracas.
3.2 Payment Schedule: Payment shall be structured in four equal installments of $9,185.00 each, due at the commencement of the project, at the midpoint of fieldwork, upon manuscript completion, and upon final delivery. All payments shall be processed in US Dollars via international wire transfer to the designated account in Venezuela Caracas.
3.3 Academic Integrity: The Academic Researcher committed under this Quotation Estimate guarantees full adherence to the ethical guidelines of the Venezuelan academic community. All data collected in Venezuela Caracas will be anonymized, and informed consent will be obtained from all participants prior to any research activity.
3.4 Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all research outputs, manuscripts, and data sets produced by the Academic Researcher shall be jointly owned by the commissioning institution and the researcher. The Academic Researcher retains the right to publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, provided the institution is acknowledged as the primary funder.
3.5 Force Majeure: Given the operational environment in Venezuela Caracas, the Academic Researcher shall not be held liable for delays caused by governmental restrictions, infrastructure disruptions, or unforeseen regulatory changes within Venezuela. In such cases, the Quotation Estimate timeline shall be extended proportionally without additional cost.
3.6 Cancellation Policy: Should the commissioning party wish to terminate this Quotation Estimate engagement, a written notice of fourteen (14) days must be provided. Fees for work already completed by the Academic Researcher in Venezuela Caracas shall remain non-refundable.
Note: This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for international airfare, visa processing, or accommodation for the Academic Researcher if the engagement requires travel from outside Venezuela Caracas. These expenses, if applicable, will be itemized in a supplementary addendum to this document.By signing below, both parties acknowledge that this Quotation Estimate constitutes a binding agreement for the engagement of the Academic Researcher as described herein, to be executed within the jurisdiction of Venezuela Caracas, Venezuela. All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with Venezuelan civil law.
