1. Purpose and Scope of This Quotation Estimate
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Southeast Asia Research & Consultancy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Service Provider") to provide a comprehensive and itemized cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Academic Researcher to support a multi-phase research project conducted in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City. The project, titled "Socio-Economic Impact of Urbanization on Peri-Urban Communities in Southern Vietnam," requires the dedicated involvement of an Academic Researcher with expertise in development economics, urban planning, and quantitative field research methodologies.
The scope of this Quotation Estimate covers all professional services, travel, accommodation, data collection, and reporting deliverables associated with the Academic Researcher's engagement over a period of twelve (12) months, commencing from 1 September 2025 through 31 August 2026. All activities will be primarily based in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City, with periodic fieldwork excursions to surrounding provinces including Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An.

3. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After 15 July 2025, the Service Provider reserves the right to revise rates due to market fluctuations in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City.
- Payment Schedule: 30% advance payment upon contract signing; 40% upon completion of the field data collection phase (Month 6); 30% upon delivery of the final research report and acceptance by the client.
- Payment Method: Bank transfer to the Service Provider's account at Vietcombank, Ho Chi Minh City branch. All payments in VND. International wire transfers in USD will be subject to a 2% conversion surcharge.
- Intellectual Property: All research outputs, including the final report, datasets, and published articles, shall be jointly owned by the client and the Academic Researcher, as stipulated in the master service agreement.
- Ethical Compliance: The Academic Researcher shall obtain all necessary ethical clearances from the Ho Chi Minh City University Ethics Committee and comply with the 2018 Law on Science and Technology of Vietnam.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with sixty (60) days' written notice. In such case, the client shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date.
- Confidentiality: The Academic Researcher and all research assistants are bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) covering all proprietary data collected in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding regions.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved through arbitration under the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
4. Acceptance and Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms outlined herein. The Service Provider confirms that the Academic Researcher named in the attached CV (Annex A) is available for the stated period and meets all qualifications required for the project in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City.
