3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and availability of the Actor may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Canada Montreal.
3.2 Payment Schedule: A deposit of 40% of the total estimated cost is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining 60% shall be invoiced in two equal installments: 50% at the midpoint of the engagement period and 50% upon completion of all Actor deliverables. All payments are to be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) via electronic transfer to the agency's designated account in Canada Montreal.
3.3 Cancellation & Rescheduling: Cancellation by the client more than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled start date will incur a 25% fee of the total Quotation Estimate amount. Cancellation within fourteen (14) days will incur a 50% fee. Cancellation within seventy-two (72) hours will result in full payment of the Quotation Estimate total. Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to the Actor's availability.
3.4 Intellectual Property & Usage Rights: All performances, recordings, and visual materials produced by the Actor under this engagement shall be the property of the client, subject to the Actor's moral rights as protected under Canadian copyright law (Copyright Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-42) and Quebec civil law. The Actor retains the right to be credited in all public distributions of the work.
3.5 Compliance & Jurisdiction: This Quotation Estimate and the resulting engagement agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Canada Montreal. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Montreal, Quebec, before resorting to litigation in the competent courts of Canada Montreal.
3.6 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government-mandated shutdowns, or labour disputes affecting the Canada Montreal entertainment industry.
