1. Scope of Services – Actor Engagement in China ShanghaiThis Quotation Estimate covers the full engagement of a principal Actor for a 12-day filming schedule in China Shanghai. The Actor will be a bilingual performer (Mandarin Chinese and English) with a minimum of eight years of professional screen experience. The engagement includes all on-set performance duties, rehearsal sessions, promotional appearances within the China Shanghai metropolitan area, and post-production voice-over work as required by the production team.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Actor are subject to reconfirmation.
- All prices are quoted in Chinese Yuan (CNY) and are inclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate in China Shanghai.
- The Actor's engagement is strictly limited to the 12-day filming schedule specified. Any additional shooting days, overtime beyond 12 hours per day, or extended post-production work will be billed at 1.5x the daily rate and must be approved in writing by both parties.
- The client is responsible for securing all necessary filming permits, location clearances, and regulatory approvals from the Shanghai Municipal Film Bureau and relevant China Shanghai authorities prior to the commencement of production.
- The Actor shall be provided with a safe working environment in accordance with all labor laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China. The client assumes full responsibility for on-set safety protocols.
- Intellectual property rights for all filmed material remain the sole property of the client. The Actor grants a non-exclusive, worldwide license for the use of their likeness, name, and performance in connection with the production, subject to the terms of the master engagement contract.
- Should the production be cancelled or postponed by the client, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total Quotation Estimate amount shall apply if notice is given fewer than 14 days before the scheduled start date in China Shanghai.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated shutdowns, or public health emergencies affecting China Shanghai, shall relieve both parties from performance obligations without penalty.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting engagement contract shall be resolved through arbitration under the Shanghai Arbitration Commission in accordance with its rules of procedure.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal engagement agreement must be executed by both parties before any services are rendered.
Please be advised that all foreign Actor engagements in China Shanghai are subject to the regulations of the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) and the Shanghai Municipal Culture and Tourism Administration. The Actor must obtain a valid work permit (Z visa) and a foreign expert certificate prior to commencing any professional performance activities. Our agency will manage all regulatory filings on behalf of the client at no additional cost beyond what is itemized in this Quotation Estimate. The client is kindly requested to provide the Actor's passport details and a recent photograph no later than twenty-one (21) days before the scheduled arrival date in China Shanghai to ensure timely processing of all permits.
