The Actor proposed for this engagement is a distinguished performer based in Dakar, Senegal, with a proven track record in West African cinema, including credits in productions distributed across the Senegal Dakar film festival circuit and the FESPACO festival in Ouagadougou. The Actor is fluent in Wolof, French, and Pulaar, which is essential for the multilingual dialogue requirements of the "Voices of the Baobab" screenplay. The Actor has completed a minimum of three (3) prior feature film lead roles and holds a professional performance license issued by the Senegalese Ministry of Culture and Arts, valid for all engagements within the Republic of Senegal, including the Dakar metropolitan area.
The total amount of this Quotation Estimate shall be disbursed to the Actor and Sahel Performers Agency according to the following milestone schedule: (a) 30% upon execution of the definitive engagement contract; (b) 40% upon completion of the first twenty (20) shooting days; (c) 30% upon final delivery of all principal photography footage. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the designated account held at Ecobank Senegal, Dakar branch, in West African CFA Francs.
- This Quotation Estimate assumes a standard 12-hour shooting day. Any overtime exceeding 12 hours will be billed at 1.5x the daily rate.
- International travel for the Actor is excluded, as the Actor is a resident of Dakar, Senegal.
- Post-production voice-over sessions (up to 5 days) are included; additional sessions will be quoted separately.
- This estimate does not include costs for the production's own equipment, crew, or location permits in Senegal Dakar.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates are subject to revision.
- Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate constitutes a binding agreement between the client and Sahel Performers Agency regarding the engagement of the specified Actor.
- The Actor shall be subject to a standard non-compete clause for a period of six (6) months following the completion of the engagement in Senegal Dakar.
- All disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the commercial courts of Dakar, Senegal, in accordance with Senegalese labor and entertainment industry regulations.
- Cancellation by the client after the rehearsal period has commenced will incur a penalty of 50% of the remaining contract value.
