The Aerospace Engineer proposed for this engagement holds a Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Nairobi, possesses over twelve (12) years of progressive experience in aircraft structural analysis, propulsion system design, and flight dynamics modelling, and is fully registered with the Engineering Board of Kenya (EBK) under licence number EBK/AE/2013/0442. All services described in this Quotation Estimate will be executed in full compliance with Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) regulations, ICAO Annex 8 standards, and applicable ISO 9001:2015 quality management protocols.
The Aerospace Engineer shall perform the following duties and deliverables as part of the contracted engagement in Kenya Nairobi:
- Conduct a full structural integrity assessment of the client's fleet of Cessna 208B and ATR 72-600 aircraft parked at Wilson Airport, Kenya Nairobi, including non-destructive testing (NDT) of primary and secondary airframe components.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive propulsion system performance analysis report covering engine cycle efficiency, fuel consumption modelling, and emissions compliance in line with Kenya's National Air Quality Management Strategy.
- Provide on-site technical supervision and quality assurance during scheduled heavy maintenance checks (C-Check and D-Check) at the client's maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility located in Embakasi, Kenya Nairobi.
- Prepare a detailed flight dynamics and stability analysis for proposed modifications to the aircraft's centre of gravity envelope, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and wind-tunnel correlation data.
- Deliver a written technical advisory memorandum to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority regarding proposed airworthiness directives applicable to the client's operational fleet.
- Conduct two (2) on-site training workshops for the client's ground engineering team at the Kenya Nairobi training centre, covering advanced composite repair techniques and avionics integration standards.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period may be subject to revised pricing due to fluctuations in equipment rental costs, exchange rates, or professional fee adjustments within the Kenya Nairobi engineering services market.
- The Aerospace Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of KES 50,000,000 throughout the duration of the engagement, with certificates of insurance to be provided to the client prior to commencement of work.
- All intellectual property, reports, data sets, and technical documentation produced under this engagement shall become the sole property of the client upon full and final payment. The Aerospace Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with prior written consent from the client.
- Any variation or change in scope beyond the parameters described in Section 2 of this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written variation order and additional cost assessment, to be agreed upon by both parties before execution.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in Kenya Nairobi in accordance with the Arbitration Act (Cap 49) of the Laws of Kenya. The courts of Kenya shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
- The client shall provide safe working access to all aircraft, hangar facilities, and MRO bays within the Kenya Nairobi operational area. The client assumes responsibility for site safety compliance under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (2007).
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed aviation ground stops, or public health emergencies affecting operations in Kenya Nairobi, shall suspend contractual obligations for the duration of the event without penalty to either party.
