The Aerospace Engineer team engaged under this Quotation Estimate will perform the following activities:

• Full structural inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) of 12 light utility aircraft and 8 UAV platforms currently in the UCA fleet.
• Development of a 24-month preventive maintenance schedule compliant with ICAO Annex 8 and Uganda Civil Aviation Regulations (UCAR) Part 145.
• Design and fabrication of replacement structural components for two Cessna 172 airframes showing fatigue indicators.
• Calibration and certification of all ground-based testing equipment located at the Uganda Kampala technical facility.
• Training of four (4) UCA in-house technicians on advanced Aerospace Engineer diagnostic methodologies, spanning 10 working days.
• Preparation of a final technical report with recommendations for fleet modernisation, to be delivered to the UCA Board in Uganda Kampala.

The total duration for completion of all deliverables outlined in this Quotation Estimate is estimated at fourteen (14) calendar weeks, commencing from the date of contract signature. The Aerospace Engineer team will be fully mobilised in Uganda Kampala within five (5) working days of receiving the Purchase Order. A detailed Gantt chart and weekly progress reporting schedule will be provided as an annexure to the signed contract.

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Uganda Kampala and the broader East African region.
2. Payment shall be made in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) via bank transfer to AeroTech Uganda Engineering Solutions Ltd., Stanbic Bank, Kampala Branch, Account No. 0045-7821-3390. A 30% advance payment is required upon contract execution; 40% is due upon completion of the structural assessment phase; and the remaining 30% is payable upon delivery and acceptance of the final technical report.
3. All Aerospace Engineer personnel engaged under this contract shall comply with the Uganda Labour Act (2023), the Uganda Civil Aviation Regulations, and all applicable occupational health and safety standards enforced by the Uganda National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
4. Intellectual property rights for all designs, reports, and methodologies developed specifically for the UCA under this Quotation Estimate shall vest in the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority upon full payment.
5. AeroTech Uganda shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than UGX 500,000,000 for the duration of the project, with a certificate of coverage to be provided prior to commencement of work in Uganda Kampala.
6. Any variation or change order to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties. The Aerospace Engineer project manager will issue a supplementary Quotation Estimate for any additional work requested by the UCA.
7. Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Uganda Kampala in accordance with the Arbitration Act (Cap 72) of the Laws of Uganda.
