The Aerospace Engineer engagement is projected to span approximately fourteen (14) weeks from the date of contract execution. The initial phase, comprising structural assessment and aerodynamic modeling, will be conducted primarily at the United States Chicago engineering office located at 2100 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL 60616. On-site inspections at the client's manufacturing facility will be scheduled in coordination with the client's production calendar. All deliverables will be submitted in accordance with the milestone schedule attached as Appendix A to this Quotation Estimate.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made according to the following milestone-based schedule:

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing by the Aerospace Engineer.
All services shall be performed in strict compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Illinois State Board of Examiners of Professional Engineers standards, and all local United States Chicago municipal codes governing professional engineering practice.
The Aerospace Engineer shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 per occurrence throughout the duration of this engagement.
Any changes to the scope of work beyond ten percent (10%) of the original estimate shall require a written change order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
All intellectual property, technical data, and proprietary information generated during the course of this project shall remain the exclusive property of Meridian Aerospace Systems LLC, subject to the Aerospace Engineer's right to use anonymized data for academic publication with prior written consent.
Payment terms are net thirty (30) days from the date of invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted under Illinois law, whichever is lower.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Statement of Work (SOW) is executed by both parties. The terms herein serve solely as a cost projection and service outline.
The Aerospace Engineer reserves the right to decline or modify services if safety concerns, regulatory conflicts, or ethical obligations necessitate such action, with no penalty to either party.
All communications, disputes, and legal matters arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and shall be adjudicated in the Circuit Court of Cook County, United States Chicago.
