This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Architectural Design Studio, a licensed Architect practice operating in Afghanistan Kabul, in response to the client's request for comprehensive architectural design and consulting services. The project entails the design, planning, and architectural supervision of a six-storey mixed-use commercial and residential building located in the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, Afghanistan. The total built-up area is estimated at 4,200 square metres, incorporating ground-floor retail spaces, four residential floors, and a rooftop mechanical and amenity level.
The Architect team will deliver all design documentation in compliance with the Afghanistan National Building Code, the Kabul Municipality zoning regulations, and applicable seismic design standards relevant to the seismic zone in which the project site in Afghanistan Kabul is situated. All deliverables will be produced in both English and Dari to facilitate local authority approvals and contractor coordination.
The following scope of work is included in this Quotation Estimate for the Architect engagement in Afghanistan Kabul:

The total amount of this Quotation Estimate shall be disbursed in the following instalments, aligned with the Architect project milestones in Afghanistan Kabul:

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Architect firm reserves the right to revise rates due to market fluctuations in Afghanistan Kabul.
- All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of any applicable Afghan Value Added Tax (VAT) or municipal levies, which shall be borne by the client.
- The Architect shall not be liable for delays caused by Kabul Municipality processing times, force majeure events, or client-initiated design changes exceeding two (2) revision cycles per design phase.
- Any additional services beyond the scope defined in Section 2 of this Quotation Estimate shall be billed separately at the Architect's standard hourly rate of USD 85.00 per hour.
- Intellectual property of all design documents, drawings, and 3D models produced by the Architect shall remain the property of Meridian Architectural Design Studio until full payment is received.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Kabul, Afghanistan, in accordance with the Afghanistan Arbitration Law.
- The Architect team shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 500,000 throughout the duration of the project in Afghanistan Kabul.
The estimated duration for the complete Architect engagement, from commencement to as-built delivery, is twenty-two (22) weeks, subject to timely client approvals and municipal processing in Afghanistan Kabul. A detailed Gantt chart will be provided upon contract execution.
