General Conditions of this Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Architect firm reserves the right to revise pricing due to market conditions in Brazil Brasília.
- All Architect services described herein are subject to the professional code of ethics of the CAU/DF and the Brazilian Civil Code (Código Civil Brasileiro, Lei 10.406/2002).
- The client acknowledges that the Architect is responsible for design and supervision only. Structural engineering, geotechnical studies, and specialized consulting (electrical, hydraulic, HVAC) are to be contracted separately unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Any changes to the project scope requested by the client after the approval of a given phase will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by the Architect firm, detailing additional costs and timeline adjustments.
- Payment is due within fifteen (15) business days of each invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1% per month plus monetary correction per the IGP-M index published by FGV.
- The Architect firm shall maintain professional liability insurance (Seguro de Responsabilidade Civil Profissional) with a minimum coverage of R$ 500.000,00 throughout the duration of the project in Brazil Brasília.
- All intellectual property rights over the architectural drawings, 3D models, and design documents remain with the Architect firm until full payment of the Quotation Estimate is completed. Upon full settlement, the client receives a non-exclusive license to use the documents for the specific project in Brasília.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal Architect Service Agreement (Contrato de Prestação de Serviços de Arquitetura) must be executed by both parties before any work commences.
