- 1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, the Architect reserves the right to revise fees based on current market conditions in New Zealand Wellington.
- 2. All fees quoted are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate of 15%, which is added as shown in the Quotation Estimate above.
- 3. The Architect shall be engaged in accordance with the New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA) Standard Form of Agreement for Architectural Services, 2023 edition.
- 4. Payment shall be made in monthly progress instalments aligned to the project phases outlined in this Quotation Estimate. A 10% retainer is due upon execution of the Architectural Services Agreement.
- 5. The Architect is not responsible for costs arising from delays caused by the client, third-party consultants, or Wellington City Council processing times beyond the Architect's reasonable control.
- 6. Any variations to the scope of work beyond 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value will require a written variation agreement signed by both parties before additional work commences.
- 7. This Quotation Estimate does not include third-party costs such as geotechnical reports, structural engineering fees, landscape architecture, or council application fees, which will be billed at cost with a 5% administration surcharge.
- 8. The Architect maintains professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of NZD $5,000,000, as required for architectural practice in New Zealand Wellington.
- 9. All intellectual property in design documents produced by the Architect remains the property of Harbourline Architecture Studio until full payment of the Quotation Estimate total has been received.
- 10. Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved in accordance with the Disputes Tribunal Act 1945 or, where the amount exceeds NZD $50,000, by arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1996 in Wellington, New Zealand.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Architect services to be delivered in New Zealand Wellington, and agrees to the terms and conditions set out herein. The Architect will issue a formal Architectural Services Agreement within five (5) business days of acceptance.
