This Quotation Estimate is issued by Stellar Sciences Consulting B.V. to provide the services of a qualified Astronomer for a period of twelve (12) months, to be deployed at the Royal Observatory of Belgium located in Belgium Brussels. The Astronomer will be engaged to support ongoing research programmes in stellar astrophysics, exoplanet detection, and deep-sky survey data analysis. All professional activities will be conducted on-site in Belgium Brussels, with occasional remote collaboration permitted as outlined in Section 4.

The Astronomer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall deliver the following milestones during the contract period in Belgium Brussels:
- Month 3: Completion of initial spectroscopic data reduction for the variable star catalogue (minimum 200 objects).
- Month 6: Operational exoplanet transit photometry pipeline with documented validation results for at least 15 confirmed candidates.
- Month 9: Submission of two (2) peer-reviewed journal articles co-authored by the Astronomer.
- Month 12: Final project report, data archive handover, and a public presentation at the Royal Observatory in Belgium Brussels.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. After expiry, pricing may be revised to reflect current market rates for Astronomer services in Belgium Brussels.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% at the six-month milestone, and 30% upon final delivery and acceptance. All payments are due within thirty (30) days of invoice date.
- The Astronomer shall comply with all applicable Belgian labour regulations, data protection laws (GDPR), and the internal research ethics policies of the Royal Observatory of Belgium.
- Intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and Stellar Sciences Consulting B.V., unless otherwise agreed in a supplementary agreement.
- Either party may terminate this contract with sixty (60) days written notice. In the event of early termination, fees for services rendered up to the termination date shall be invoiced in full.
- All work will be performed primarily at the client's premises in Belgium Brussels. The Astronomer may conduct up to 20% of working hours remotely, subject to prior written approval.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the advance payment has been received.
- Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms set forth in this Quotation Estimate for Astronomer services to be delivered in Belgium Brussels.
