This Quotation Estimate is issued by Stellar Horizon Astronomical Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., a registered firm headquartered in India Bangalore, in response to the client's request for the professional engagement of a qualified Astronomer. The scope of work encompasses the following deliverables, which the assigned Astronomer shall execute in accordance with the timelines and specifications outlined below:
- Spectroscopic Data Analysis: The Astronomer shall perform detailed spectroscopic analysis of stellar and extragalactic objects using data acquired from the 2.4-metre telescope at the Vidyavardhaka facility in India Bangalore. This includes classification, redshift determination, and elemental abundance mapping for a minimum of 120 celestial targets.
- Celestial Navigation Advisory: Provision of expert advisory services to the client's engineering team regarding satellite ground-station alignment, orbital mechanics verification, and atmospheric refraction corrections specific to the latitude and altitude of India Bangalore (12.9716° N, 77.5946° E, 920 m ASL).
- Public Outreach & Education Programmes: The Astronomer shall design and deliver a minimum of six (6) public lectures and two (2) school outreach workshops per quarter, promoting astronomical literacy in the India Bangalore metropolitan region and surrounding districts.
- Research Collaboration & Co-Authorship: Joint authorship on a minimum of two (2) peer-reviewed research papers in international journals, with the Astronomer contributing primary observational data and theoretical modelling.
- Instrumentation Review: Annual technical audit of the observatory's optical and electronic instrumentation, with a written report and recommendations for upgrades or recalibration.

- 25% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement.
- Remaining 75% shall be payable in four (4) equal quarterly instalments, due within 15 days of the end of each calendar quarter.
- All payments shall be made via NEFT/RTGS to the firm's designated bank account in India Bangalore. A valid GST invoice shall accompany each payment request.
- Any delay in payment beyond the stipulated 15-day window shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be revised to reflect changes in operational costs, tax regulations, or market conditions in India Bangalore.
- The Astronomer assigned to this engagement shall be a full-time, dedicated professional. Substitution of the primary Astronomer shall require prior written consent from the client.
- All intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement, including spectroscopic datasets, research manuscripts, and outreach materials, shall be jointly owned by the client and Stellar Horizon Astronomical Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., unless otherwise agreed in a separate IP addendum.
- The Astronomer shall comply with all applicable Indian regulations, including the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) guidelines for satellite-related advisory work and the Ministry of Science & Technology norms for public scientific communication.
- Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In such an event, payment shall be pro-rated for services rendered up to the termination date.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties. All terms herein are subject to the final agreement.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in India Bangalore in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Astronomer professional services in India Bangalore.
