This Quotation Estimate is issued in response to the formal request submitted by the Jerusalem Institute for Advanced Scientific Research for the engagement of a senior Astronomer to provide comprehensive research, observational, and educational services within the Israel Jerusalem metropolitan area. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Israel Jerusalem.
- Payment shall be made in quarterly installments of 25% each, due within thirty (30) days of the end of each fiscal quarter. The first installment is due upon formal acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- The Astronomer shall comply with all applicable Israeli labor regulations, tax obligations, and institutional policies governing academic and research personnel in Israel Jerusalem.
- Any additional services beyond the scope defined herein shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by the service provider and approved in writing by the client prior to execution.
- The Astronomer is required to publish a minimum of two peer-reviewed articles per year in internationally recognized astronomy journals, with the Israel Jerusalem institution listed as the primary affiliation.
- Confidentiality: All proprietary data, unpublished research findings, and institutional records accessed by the Astronomer during the engagement period shall remain the exclusive property of the client. This obligation survives the termination of the contract by a period of five (5) years.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with sixty (60) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date plus a 10% administrative fee.
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Israel Jerusalem in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel.
The Astronomer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall deliver the following milestones: a comprehensive annual research report by the end of each calendar year; a minimum of four (4) completed observation campaigns per year; a public lecture series of at least two (2) sessions per month held at venues within Israel Jerusalem; and a fully updated digital archive of all spectral and photometric data collected during the engagement period. By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Astronomer in Israel Jerusalem. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon countersignature by both parties.
