Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made via bank transfer to the account of the Astronomer as follows: 40% of the total amount (EUR 24,351.20) shall be due upon signing of the service agreement; 35% (EUR 21,307.30) shall be due upon completion of the educational workshops and stargazing events; and the remaining 25% (EUR 15,219.50) shall be due within thirty (30) days of the final delivery of the exhibition curation and research collaboration. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Italian commercial law (Codice Civile, Art. 1284).
This Quotation Estimate is valid for sixty (60) days from the date of issue. Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate shall be confirmed in writing by the Client via signed copy of this document or a formal purchase order referencing document number QTE-NAP-2025-0417. No services shall commence until a written contract incorporating the terms of this Quotation Estimate has been executed by both parties.
- All services shall be performed by the named Astronomer, Dr. Elena Marchetti, or by a suitably qualified substitute Astronomer approved in writing by the Client.
- The Astronomer shall comply with all applicable Italian regulations regarding public events, noise ordinances in the city of Naples, and safety standards for the use of optical equipment in public spaces.
- Weather-related cancellations of outdoor stargazing events in Italy Naples (e.g., volcanic ash from Vesuvius, heavy rainfall) shall be rescheduled at no additional cost, provided notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.
- Intellectual property arising from the research collaboration shall be jointly owned by the Astronomer and the University of Naples Federico II, as detailed in a separate IP agreement.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for third-party venue rentals, permit fees from the Comune di Napoli, or marketing expenses for the Astronomy Festival, which shall be borne by the Client.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Naples, Italy.
