- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability of the Astronomer must be reconfirmed in writing.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three (3) equal instalments: 40% upon contract signature, 30% at the midpoint of the engagement (month three), and 30% upon final delivery of all reports and publications. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Celestial Sciences Consulting S.r.l., IBAN: IT60 X054 2811 1000 0000 0123 456, BIC: BLOPIT22.
- Working Location: The Astronomer shall perform all duties primarily in Italy Rome, with access to the Monte Mario Observatory (INAF), the Vatican Observatory, and the Planetarium di Roma. Any travel outside the Rome metropolitan area (e.g., to the Etna Observatory in Sicily) is included in Item 05 above.
- Intellectual Property: All data, observations, and publications generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by the client institution and Celestial Sciences Consulting S.r.l., unless otherwise agreed in a separate IP addendum.
- Confidentiality: The Astronomer shall adhere to strict confidentiality protocols, particularly regarding unpublished data from the Vatican Observatory and any classified research conducted under EU Horizon Europe grants.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days’ written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date, plus a 10% administrative fee.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Rome, Italy.
- Insurance: Celestial Sciences Consulting S.r.l. maintains full professional liability insurance and occupational accident coverage for the Astronomer in accordance with Italian labour regulations (D.Lgs. 81/2008).
