1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates for the Astronomer engagement and associated services in Ivory Coast Abidjan are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions, exchange rate fluctuations, and availability of specialized equipment.
2. Payment terms: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 30% upon commencement of the Astronomer's on-site work in Abidjan, and the remaining 30% upon successful delivery of all final reports and completion of the training programme in Ivory Coast.
3. The Astronomer shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Ivory Coast, including but not limited to the Ivorian Code of Labour, immigration statutes, and any local ordinances governing scientific research and observation activities in the Abidjan area.
4. All intellectual property generated by the Astronomer during the course of this engagement in Ivory Coast Abidjan shall be jointly owned by the Client and Celestial Sciences & Advisory Group, as further detailed in the definitive Service Agreement to be executed upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
5. The Astronomer is required to maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of 50,000,000 XOF throughout the duration of the assignment in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
6. Any changes to the scope of work, extension of the engagement period, or modification of deliverables must be documented in a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties, before additional costs are incurred.
7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal Service Agreement, incorporating all terms herein, shall be executed by both parties prior to the commencement of any Astronomer services in Ivory Coast Abidjan.
