This Quotation Estimate is issued by Stellar Sciences & Research Consultancy (Pvt.) Ltd. in response to the formal request received from the University of Karachi, Pakistan Karachi, for the professional engagement of a qualified Astronomer to support ongoing research, academic instruction, and public outreach programs. This document outlines the complete scope of services, associated costs, deliverables, and contractual terms governing the proposed engagement. All pricing in this Quotation Estimate is presented in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and is specific to operations within Pakistan Karachi and its surrounding metropolitan area.

The proposed Astronomer is a PhD-qualified specialist in observational astrophysics and stellar evolution, with a minimum of twelve (12) years of post-doctoral experience. The Astronomer will be based at the University of Karachi campus in Pakistan Karachi and will perform the following duties:

Conduct advanced astrophysical research utilizing the university's 1.2-meter optical telescope and radio interferometry equipment located in Pakistan Karachi.
Deliver undergraduate and graduate-level courses in observational astronomy, celestial mechanics, and cosmology for a minimum of 18 contact hours per week.
Supervise a minimum of four (4) MPhil and two (2) PhD research students in the field of astrophysics.
Organize and lead public astronomy outreach events, including stargazing nights and science fairs, in coordination with the Pakistan Karachi Science Museum and local educational institutions.
Collaborate with the National Institute of Space Physics (NISP) in Islamabad and the Pakistan Meteorological Department on atmospheric and space-weather research initiatives.
Publish a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed research articles in internationally indexed journals during the engagement period.
Attend and present findings at national and international astronomy conferences, representing the University of Karachi, Pakistan Karachi.

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three (3) equal installments via bank transfer to the account of Stellar Sciences & Research Consultancy (Pvt.) Ltd., Meezan Bank, Pakistan Karachi Branch:

First Installment (40%): PKR 4,646,400 – Due upon signing of the engagement contract and commencement of the Astronomer's duties.
Second Installment (35%): PKR 4,065,600 – Due at the completion of the sixth (6th) month of the engagement period.
Third Installment (25%): PKR 2,904,000 – Due upon successful completion of the twelfth (12th) month and submission of the final project report.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Pakistan Karachi.
The Astronomer shall adhere to the academic calendar and institutional policies of the University of Karachi, Pakistan Karachi, including all codes of conduct and research ethics guidelines.
All intellectual property, research data, and publications generated during the engagement period shall be jointly owned by the Astronomer and the University of Karachi, Pakistan Karachi, as stipulated in the signed agreement.
Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In such an event, payment shall be pro-rated based on services rendered up to the termination date.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the formal engagement agreement in writing.
All services shall be performed in compliance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including the Higher Education Commission (HEC) regulations applicable to academic appointments in Pakistan Karachi.
Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan.

By signing below, the undersigned parties acknowledge and accept the terms, conditions, and cost structure outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of the Astronomer at the University of Karachi, Pakistan Karachi.
