The Astronomer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will provide the following professional services within the geographic and institutional boundaries of Peru Lima, including the main campus of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, the Observatorio Astronómico del Cerro Calón (located in the Lima province), and any additional field sites within a 150-kilometer radius of central Lima as mutually agreed upon in writing.
- Celestial Observation Campaigns: The Astronomer will conduct a minimum of forty-eight (48) scheduled observation nights per year, utilizing the 0.6-meter telescope at the Cerro Calón facility. These sessions will focus on variable star photometry, exoplanet transit detection, and deep-sky object cataloging relevant to the Southern Hemisphere sky visible from Peru Lima.
- Academic Lectures and Seminars: The Astronomer will deliver no fewer than twenty-four (24) in-person lectures per academic year to undergraduate and graduate students at the Lima campus, covering topics including stellar astrophysics, cosmology, and the history of Peruvian astronomical heritage.
- Research Supervision and Mentorship: The Astronomer will supervise up to six (6) graduate research students simultaneously, providing weekly guidance sessions, manuscript review, and co-authorship on resulting publications.
- Instrument Calibration and Maintenance: The Astronomer will perform quarterly calibration of all optical and spectroscopic instruments at the Lima observatory, ensuring compliance with international data-quality standards.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in four (4) equal quarterly installments of PEN 142,308.00 each, due on the first business day of January, April, July, and October of the contract year. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by Celestial Sciences & Observational Consulting Group, Banco de Crédito del Perú, Lima. A 1.5% monthly late-payment penalty will apply to any overdue balance, in accordance with Peruvian commercial law.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all prices are subject to revision due to potential changes in Peruvian market conditions, exchange rates, or regulatory requirements applicable to professional services in Peru Lima.
- The Astronomer engaged under this contract shall comply with all applicable Peruvian labor regulations, including the Ley General del Trabajo (D.S. 003-97-TR) and all provisions of the Peruvian Tax Code (Código Tributario).
- All astronomical data, images, and research outputs generated during the engagement in Peru Lima shall be jointly owned by the contracting institution and the Astronomer, with publication rights governed by a separate intellectual property addendum.
- The Astronomer reserves the right to reschedule observation nights due to adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, or astronomical visibility constraints specific to the Lima region. Rescheduled sessions will be completed within the same contract year at no additional cost.
- Either party may terminate this agreement with sixty (60) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the Astronomer shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date, plus a 10% administrative closure fee.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties in accordance with Peruvian civil and commercial law.
- All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lima, Peru, under the rules of the Centro de Arbitraje y Conciliación de la Cámara de Comercio de Lima.

This acceptance does not obligate either party until a definitive contract is executed.
