- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all pricing, particularly the Astronomer professional fee and travel costs, are subject to revision based on prevailing exchange rates and market conditions in Senegal Dakar.
- Payment shall be structured as follows: 30% upon contract signing, 40% at the six-month milestone, and 30% upon successful completion of the twelve-month engagement. All payments shall be made in XOF via bank transfer to the designated account in Dakar, Senegal.
- The Astronomer shall be provided with a dedicated workspace at the University of Dakar observatory facility, access to all research instruments, and reasonable accommodation support in the Senegal Dakar area for the duration of the contract.
- All data collected, publications authored, and intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by the Astronomer and the University of Dakar, with primary publication rights granted to the Astronomer subject to institutional review.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for major capital equipment procurement, structural modifications to the observatory building, or emergency repairs exceeding 500,000 XOF per incident. Such items shall be subject to a separate written amendment.
- The engagement may be terminated by either party with sixty (60) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the Astronomer shall be compensated pro-rata for services rendered up to the termination date, as calculated under this Quotation Estimate.
- All services shall be performed in compliance with the laws of the Republic of Senegal, including but not limited to the Senegalese Labor Code, tax regulations applicable to professional services in Dakar, and any relevant permits for astronomical observation activities.
- This Quotation Estimate constitutes a binding offer only upon written acceptance by both parties. Verbal agreements or informal communications shall not modify the terms herein.
