This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Meridian Automotive Engineering Pty Ltd to provide a comprehensive cost breakdown for the engagement of a senior Automotive Engineer to deliver specialised technical consultancy and design services for the Victorian Transport Infrastructure Group. 2. SCOPE OF SERVICES – AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEER ENGAGEMENTThe following scope defines the professional services to be rendered by our designated Automotive Engineer team. The engagement is tailored to meet the specific requirements of the client's fleet modernisation and emissions compliance programme, conducted primarily from our Melbourne headquarters with site visits across the Australia Melbourne metropolitan area as required.

3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to revision upon expiry. The Quotation Estimate applies exclusively to services delivered within the Australia Melbourne metropolitan and regional area.
3.2 Payment Terms: Payment is due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. A 20% deposit is required upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Automotive Engineer's schedule. Remaining payments will be invoiced monthly in arrears based on hours logged and approved by the client's project manager.
3.3 Scope Changes: Any variation to the scope of work beyond the services described in Section 2 will be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate. The Automotive Engineer will provide written notice of any additional hours or costs incurred due to client-requested changes prior to commencing the additional work.
3.4 Intellectual Property: All engineering designs, calculations, reports, and documentation produced by the Automotive Engineer under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment. Meridian Automotive Engineering Pty Ltd retains the right to use anonymised data for internal training and research purposes.
3.5 Insurance & Compliance: Meridian Automotive Engineering Pty Ltd maintains professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD $10,000,000 and public liability insurance of AUD $20,000,000. All Automotive Engineer staff are fully qualified, hold current APEC-recognised engineering credentials, and comply with all Australian Standards (AS) and Australian Design Rules (ADR) applicable in Victoria, Australia.
3.6 Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all technical data, proprietary information, and commercial details exchanged during the course of this engagement. This obligation survives the termination of the contract for a period of three (3) years.
3.7 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. The parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation in the courts of Melbourne, Australia.
3.8 Cancellation: Either party may cancel the engagement with fourteen (14) days written notice. In the event of client cancellation, the Automotive Engineer will be compensated for all hours worked up to the date of cancellation plus a 10% administrative fee on the remaining contracted value.
4. ACCEPTANCE & AUTHORISATIONBy signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the Automotive Engineer services described herein. This signature constitutes a binding agreement to the terms and conditions set out in Section 3. The engagement will commence on the date specified by the client following receipt of the initial deposit.
