3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations in specialist parts, equipment availability, or changes in New Zealand Wellington operational conditions.
3.2 Payment Terms: Payment is due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. A 20% deposit is required upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Automotive Engineer's availability. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in monthly instalments aligned with project milestones.
3.3 Scope Limitations: This estimate covers services delivered within the New Zealand Wellington metropolitan region. Any work requiring travel beyond a 50-kilometre radius of the Wellington CBD (including trips to Palmerston North, Masterton, or beyond) will be subject to a separate travel surcharge of $1.85 per kilometre, in addition to overnight accommodation at cost.
3.4 Intellectual Property: All diagnostic reports, engineering analyses, and technical documentation produced by the Automotive Engineer under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment. Apex Automotive Engineering Solutions Ltd retains the right to use anonymised data for internal research and professional development purposes.
3.5 Insurance and Liability: Apex Automotive Engineering Solutions Ltd maintains Professional Indemnity Insurance of $10,000,000 and Public Liability Insurance of $20,000,000, compliant with New Zealand insurance regulations. The Automotive Engineer operates under a valid New Zealand Engineering Council (NZEng) registration.
3.6 Cancellation: Should the client wish to cancel this engagement, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total Quotation Estimate value applies if cancellation occurs within the first two weeks of the project. Cancellations after the two-week mark will incur a 50% fee.
3.7 Compliance: All services will be performed in strict compliance with the New Zealand Transport Act 1962, the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, and all applicable Wellington City Council bylaws governing vehicle emissions and roadworthiness in the New Zealand Wellington area.
