Thank you for the opportunity to submit this Quotation Estimate for the professional services of a qualified Automotive Engineer to be deployed at your facilities in South Africa Cape Town. AutoTech Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd is a registered engineering consultancy operating exclusively within the Western Cape province, and we are pleased to present the following detailed cost breakdown for your review and approval.

This Quotation Estimate covers the full-time engagement of a senior Automotive Engineer (minimum 12 years post-qualification experience, BEng (Mechanical) with specialisation in Automotive Systems, registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa – ECSA) to perform the following duties at your South Africa Cape Town premises:

Comprehensive diagnostic and fault-finding on a mixed fleet of 120 commercial and passenger vehicles (diesel and petrol, including hybrid units).
Design, prototyping, and validation of customised drivetrain and suspension components for the Coastal Motors Group bespoke vehicle line.
Development and implementation of a predictive maintenance programme using OBD-II data analytics and thermal imaging.
Supervision of a team of four (4) junior technicians and two (2) apprentices in accordance with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) framework.
Monthly technical reporting to the Operations Director, including root-cause analysis, cost-saving recommendations, and compliance audits against National Road Traffic Act (NRTA) standards.
Assistance with type-approval documentation for any modified vehicles intended for public-road use in the Western Cape.

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in monthly instalments, invoiced on the 1st of each calendar month, with payment due within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of invoice date. A 10% deposit is required upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Automotive Engineer's availability and to commence procurement of specialist equipment. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, in accordance with the National Credit Act (NCA) of South Africa.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Thereafter, pricing may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in South Africa Cape Town.
The Automotive Engineer shall be bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) covering all proprietary data, vehicle specifications, and client information encountered during the engagement.
All work shall be performed in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), the South African National Standards (SANS), and applicable Western Cape municipal by-laws.
AutoTech Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than R 5 000 000 and public liability insurance of no less than R 10 000 000 for the duration of the contract.
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice. In the event of early termination by the client, a pro-rata charge for the remaining contracted period shall apply.
All intellectual property developed specifically for Coastal Motors Group during the term of this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment. General methodologies, templates, and pre-existing IP remain the property of AutoTech Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the initial deposit has been received.
Governing law: The laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be referred to the Cape Town District Court or, at the client's election, to arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA).

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Automotive Engineer in South Africa Cape Town.
