3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Sri Lanka Colombo and fluctuations in the LKR/USD exchange rate.
3.2 Payment Terms: A non-refundable advance payment of forty percent (40%) of the total Quotation Estimate value is due upon acceptance. The remaining sixty percent (60%) shall be payable in two equal installments: fifty percent upon completion of on-site fieldwork and fifty percent upon delivery of the final Automotive Engineer report and documentation package.
3.3 Scope Limitations: The services outlined in this Quotation Estimate are strictly limited to the Sri Lanka Colombo metropolitan area, including Colombo 01 through Colombo 15, Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, and the Katunayake industrial zone. Travel to locations outside this defined Sri Lanka Colombo boundary will incur additional charges as per a separate travel addendum.
3.4 Intellectual Property: All diagnostic reports, engineering analyses, calibration data, and technical documentation produced by our Automotive Engineer team under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full and final payment. Ceylon Automotive Engineering Solutions retains the right to reference the project in anonymized portfolio materials.
3.5 Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary vehicle data, fleet specifications, and operational information shared during the course of this engagement in Sri Lanka Colombo. A mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) shall be executed prior to the commencement of fieldwork.
3.6 Cancellation and Force Majeure: Either party may cancel this Quotation Estimate engagement with a written notice of fourteen (14) days. In the event of force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated lockdowns, or civil unrest affecting Sri Lanka Colombo, timelines shall be extended proportionally without penalty to either party.
3.7 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any disputes arising therefrom shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in accordance with the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts all terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of our Automotive Engineer services in Sri Lanka Colombo. This signature constitutes a binding agreement between both parties effective from the date of the final signature.
