1. Scope of Work — Automotive Engineer Services
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Automotive Engineering Ltd. to provide a comprehensive breakdown of professional Automotive Engineer services to be delivered within United Kingdom Manchester and the wider Greater Manchester region. The scope encompasses the full spectrum of automotive engineering support required by Northwest Motors Group PLC for their commercial fleet of 145 vehicles, including light commercial vans, medium-duty trucks, and a small number of passenger vehicles used for executive transport.
Our Automotive Engineer team, based in Manchester, United Kingdom, will provide on-site and workshop-based services covering diagnostic analysis, preventive maintenance scheduling, powertrain repair, electrical system troubleshooting, emissions compliance testing, and technical consultancy for upcoming fleet upgrades. All work will be conducted in strict accordance with UK Department for Transport regulations, ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards, and the relevant BS 7858 vetting requirements applicable to engineers operating in the United Kingdom.

3. Terms and Conditions
3.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the validity period, a revised Quotation Estimate may be required to reflect any changes in material costs, labour rates, or regulatory requirements applicable in the United Kingdom.
3.2 All Automotive Engineer services described herein will be performed by qualified and insured engineers registered with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and holding valid UK driving licences where vehicle operation is required. Engineers will be based in Manchester, United Kingdom, and will travel to client sites within the Greater Manchester area at no additional cost.
3.3 Payment terms: 30% advance deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, with the remaining 70% invoiced monthly in arrears. Payment is due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. Late payments will incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3.4 All work will be carried out in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Environmental Protection Act 1990, and all applicable UK vehicle safety regulations. Our Automotive Engineer team will maintain full public liability insurance of not less than £10,000,000 and professional indemnity insurance of £5,000,000.
3.5 Any additional work beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written agreement and additional Quotation Estimate prior to commencement. No work will be authorised without written approval from the client's designated project manager.
3.6 This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the services described herein shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom.
3.7 Meridian Automotive Engineering Ltd. reserves the right to substitute equivalent or superior parts and materials where the originally specified components are unavailable, provided that the Automotive Engineer in charge notifies the client in writing and no additional cost is incurred.
4. Acceptance and Authorisation
By signing below, the client confirms acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and authorises Meridian Automotive Engineering Ltd. to commence the Automotive Engineer services as described, to be delivered in and around Manchester, United Kingdom, in accordance with the terms set out above.
