This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Automotive Engineering Group, LLC to provide a comprehensive, itemized cost projection for the engagement of a senior Automotive Engineer to deliver specialized design, analysis, testing, and consulting services. All rates, deliverables, and terms outlined herein are applicable to work performed within the United States New York City metropolitan area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island, as well as designated client facilities in the surrounding tri-state region. This document serves as a formal proposal and does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties.
The Automotive Engineer assigned to this engagement will hold a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in powertrain systems, vehicle dynamics, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and regulatory compliance under FMVSS and EPA standards. The scope encompasses the following deliverables:

The Quotation Estimate above assumes standard business hours (08:00–17:00 EST, Monday through Friday) and does not include the following, which will be billed at cost with a 10% administrative surcharge:
- Travel and lodging for the Automotive Engineer if site visits extend beyond the United States New York City metro area.
- Third-party laboratory testing fees (NVH, crash simulation, EMC) at accredited facilities.
- Software license fees for specialized CAE/CFD tools (ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink, CarSim) exceeding 200 hours.
- Applicable New York State sales tax (8.875%) on tangible deliverables and materials.
- Any expedited or after-hours work, billed at 1.5× the standard hourly rate.
Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows:
- 30% advance deposit ($46,833.00) due upon execution of the contract, prior to commencement of work.
- 40% milestone payment ($62,444.00) due upon delivery of the thermal management design package and chassis tuning report.
- 30% final payment ($46,833.00) due within fifteen (15) business days of final report acceptance.
All invoices are payable via ACH transfer, wire transfer, or certified check to Meridian Automotive Engineering Group, LLC. Late payments shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted under New York State law, whichever is lower.
5.1 Validity. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, rates and availability of the designated Automotive Engineer are subject to re-evaluation.
5.2 Intellectual Property. All designs, analyses, reports, and documentation produced under this engagement shall become the sole property of the client upon full payment. Meridian Automotive Engineering Group, LLC retains the right to reference the project in anonymized portfolio materials.
5.3 Confidentiality. Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary data exchanged during the engagement, in accordance with New York State General Obligations Law § 5-330 and applicable federal trade-secret protections.
5.4 Limitation of Liability. The total liability of Meridian Automotive Engineering Group, LLC under this Quotation Estimate shall not exceed the total contract value. Neither party shall be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
5.5 Governing Law. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York City under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
5.6 Force Majeure. Neither party shall be held liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government mandates, or labor strikes affecting the United States New York City area.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms set forth in this Quotation Estimate for Automotive Engineer services to be performed in the United States New York City jurisdiction.
