This Quotation Estimate is issued by Melbourne BioSciences Advisory Pty Ltd to provide a comprehensive and itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Biologist to deliver ecological and biological assessment services in Australia Melbourne. This document serves as a formal Quotation Estimate outlining the scope of work, professional fees, associated expenses, and terms governing the proposed engagement. All pricing is expressed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue.
The following services will be delivered by Dr. Eleanor Whitfield, a registered Biologist with over fifteen years of experience in terrestrial and freshwater ecology across the Melbourne metropolitan region and the broader Victorian landscape:
- Ecological Baseline Survey: Comprehensive flora and fauna surveys across the 42-hectare Yarra Valley development site, including identification and documentation of native plant species, threatened fauna (as listed under the Victorian Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act 1988), and habitat mapping in accordance with Australian and Victorian environmental legislation.
- Biodiversity Impact Assessment: Preparation of a detailed Biological Impact Assessment report evaluating the potential effects of the proposed development on local ecosystems, waterways, and native species corridors within the Melbourne catchment area.

4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and availability of the Biologist must be reconfirmed in writing.
4.2 Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon delivery of the Biodiversity Impact Assessment report; 30% upon completion of the post-construction monitoring programme. All invoices are payable within fourteen (14) business days.
4.3 All services will be performed in accordance with the Australian Standards for ecological assessment (AS 4406), Victorian environmental legislation, and the professional code of conduct of the Australian and New Zealand Environment and Conservation Council (ANZECC).
4.4 The Biologist reserves the right to issue a revised Quotation Estimate should the scope of work change by more than fifteen percent (15%) from the originally agreed deliverables.
4.5 All reports, data, and deliverables produced by the Biologist remain the intellectual property of Melbourne BioSciences Advisory Pty Ltd until full payment has been received. Upon payment, the client receives a non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables for the stated project purpose.
4.6 This engagement is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) or the courts of Melbourne, Victoria.
4.7 The Biologist maintains professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD $10,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than AUD $20,000,000, as required for environmental consulting work in Australia.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Biologist services in Australia Melbourne. This signature constitutes a binding agreement to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this document.
