- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all prices are subject to revision based on current market conditions in Brazil.
- Payment terms: 40% advance upon contract signing, 30% upon delivery of the EIA/RIMA biological chapter, 20% upon INEA/IBAMA approval, and 10% upon completion of the 12-month monitoring period. All payments shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account of RioBio Consultoria Ambiental Ltda.
- The Biologist shall maintain full professional liability insurance (Seguro de Responsabilidade Profissional) with a minimum coverage of R$ 500,000.00 throughout the duration of the engagement in Brazil.
- All deliverables shall be submitted in both Portuguese (for regulatory submission in Rio de Janeiro) and English (for the client's internal records), unless otherwise specified in writing.
- The client agrees to provide timely access to the project site in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and to supply all necessary permits, landowner authorizations, and prior environmental documentation within five (5) business days of the project kickoff meeting.
- Any scope modifications, additional fieldwork, or extended monitoring periods beyond those described in this Quotation Estimate shall require a formal written amendment signed by both parties before execution.
- Intellectual property of all reports, data sets, and technical documents produced under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment. The Biologist retains the right to use anonymized data for academic publication with prior written consent.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent contract shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in accordance with Brazilian law (Código Civil Brasileiro, Lei 10.406/2002).
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement (Contrato de Prestação de Serviços) is executed by both parties.
