3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, the Biologist reserves the right to revise the pricing due to potential changes in material costs, regulatory fees, or availability of laboratory resources in China Beijing.
3.2 Payment Terms: A deposit of 30% of the total estimated cost shall be paid upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining 70% shall be paid in two equal installments: 50% upon delivery of the Biodiversity Impact Assessment Report and 50% upon completion of the final quarterly monitoring review. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the Biologist in Beijing.
3.3 Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers only the services explicitly listed in Section 2. Any additional fieldwork, laboratory testing, or report revisions beyond the agreed scope shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional charges at the rates specified herein.
3.4 Regulatory Compliance: The Biologist guarantees that all field activities conducted in China Beijing shall comply with the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Wildlife Protection Law, and all applicable Beijing municipal ordinances. Permits required for access to protected areas (e.g., Miyun Reservoir Nature Reserve) shall be obtained by the client at the client's expense unless otherwise agreed.
3.5 Intellectual Property: All reports, data sets, and analytical outputs produced under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment. The Biologist retains the right to reference the project in academic publications with prior written consent from the client.
3.6 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance caused by natural disasters, government-mandated closures, public health emergencies, or other events beyond reasonable control, particularly those affecting operations in China Beijing.
3.7 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty days, the matter shall be submitted to the Beijing Arbitration Commission in accordance with its rules of procedure.
